Best Monitor To Pair With Imac 27

Title says it all, looking for something VESA mountable. Would have preferred an apple brand but certainly cant spent 6k on a Pro screen from apple.

I've been exploring this topic. I've settled on just keeping my smaller 24" 4K next to it, since I've sadly realized that there is no best option to match the iMac in size.

1. The best cheap option (if I had to do it all over again): 2560x1600 27" since that's the unscaled resolution of the iMac and it will match in size
2. An interesting option: 34" Ultrawide (it will match the iMac in terms of height, but a downside is that the 5K resolution is wasted if you're using an ultrawide as the main screen with the iMac on the side)
3. More expensive: LG Ultrafine 5K (not a fan due to its design)
4. Most expensive: Pro Display XDR (again, not a fan since you're wasting the 5K if the iMac's on the side)

5. iMac + small ultrawide under it: Kind of out there solution that I tried: 2560x1080 ultrawide under the iMac

My work bought me a 27" 4K acer monitor, it's IPS and it works fine. If you want, I can get the model number. I don't think it was particularly expensive.

I use an ASUS ROG Swift PG279QZ as my second monitor (mounted above my iMac) as I also use it as the display for my Windows gaming machine (so I wanted something with G-Sync and high refresh rate for games). It is quite expensive, but the IPS panel is very nice and the 2560x1440 resolution matches my iMac 5K (in Retina mode) so windows do not re-size when moved between the displays.

Do you have any pictures of this setup? What VESA arm do you use?

I just got an ASUS PA329C. It is 100% Adobe RGB and 98% DCI-P3. It has good uniformity and rivals my 27" iMac screen. I think it's even better, and the sizes match up well.

Did you find a resolution ?

I had a look at the ASUS PA278CV However you can't adjust the resolution or the screen size. Is that the same as the 32. ?
